Ultimate Baby Registry: You Can’t Live Without It!

Ultimate Baby Registry- You Can't Live Without It!Here it is…the Master List of all the baby products you’d be lost without! Keep them coming!

Bath Time

Mom of three, Adrienne R.’s must-haves:

  • I think everyone should definitely use a small space heater!! Seriously, thats all you need to end bathtime crying in the 0-6 month stage!! Point in the the direction of the baby, close the door a bit, and you are good to go until the little fingers and toes turn to raisins!

Mom of one, Erica G.’s must-haves:

  • We use Mustela everything: soap, lotion, diaper rash cream. Although for super dry spots, Aveeno Eczema cream is my go to! Mustela, Aveeno, and Pampers are our only true brand loyalties.

Mom of one, Lauren M.’s must-haves:

  • Bath books (like this and this) are clutch when Amelia refuses to sit down in the tubby.

Mom of one, Sarah A.’s must-haves:

  • The tub we received was a collapsable with an inflatable bottom. She slid ALL over the place the first months when we gave her a bath. Now that she’s bigger and has more control over her body it’s easier, but next time I get a baby tub I won’t get an inflatable one.

Mom of two, Tara S.’s must-haves:

  • After the first 2 months or so of comfy bath time with our blooming bath flower I have found that keeping it simple works wonderfully with the Whale of A Tub.
  • We have recently started using SheaMoisture soap and lotions for Quinn’s eczema and so far so good!

Diapering

Mom of three, Adrienne R.’s must-haves:

  • I say you need very little besides a good diaper and wipes! After the first, we got rid of the changing table, and haven’t regretted it at all. I love the Huggies Little Snugglers for the first couple months!
  • The only other thing I suggest is the Thirty-One Zipper Pouch to keep everything in inside your purse.

Cloth Mama of one, Anita B.’s must-haves:

  • Planet Wise Wet Bags– They come in a few different sizes and are used when we are out and about for not only diapers, but clothes/swimsuits as well.
  • Coconut oil is a must for us!
  • We use BumGenius and Charlie Banana reusable diapers. But [my husband] would only recommend the BumGenuis because Charlie Banana has a different (more complicated) adjustment system compared to other cloth diapers.
  • Here is the recipe we use for homemade baby wipes.
  • The Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Database has helped us research numerous products to see whats safer out there!

Cloth Mama of one, Julie P.’s must-haves:

  • Planet Wise Wet Bags– I have lots and use then for all sorts of things and not just dipes! They are great for days at the beach or pool to keep wet items in as well. I have lots and use then for all sorts of things and not just dipes! They are great for days at the beach or pool to keep wet items in as well.
  • The bum genius diaper sprayer works amazingly for us! It’s super powerful and my dipes look washed before actually going into the wash. Just be sure to look up how to properly spray diapers on YouTube or your bathroom walls might get soaked.
  • Prob one if my fav items of all time – coconut oil! It’s all I ever use on Harper, and she’s never had a diaper rash…EVER! I’m not loyal to any specific brand, all I look for is unrefined & organic.

Mom of one, Sarah A.’s must-haves:

  • We’re 80/20 with regular/cloth diapers, so I’m FAR from hardcore, but when we do use cloth it’s Sunbaby. I’ve never had any issues with them. I usually do cloth overnight and on days I’m going to be home most of the time. I figure saving money on a minimum of 7 diapers a week is nothing to sneeze at. I haven’t ventured into the land of changing and CARRYING AROUND a dirty cloth diaper yet.
  • I have a foldable diaper carrier thing (technical name unknown due to lack of coffee) that holds about five diapers and a pack of wipes at Walmart. It’s so nice to toss it in the stroller and not have to worry about taking the whole diaper bag.

Mom of two, Shelby J.’s must-haves:

  • I am a die hard Target diapers girl.
  • I also love any Pampers wipes and refuse to use any others because they work so well.
  • I do however love this Huggies refillable wipe case for my diaper bag. I will say that the wipe case started to come apart right away, but I just hot glue gunned it back together and it’s been great. I hate buying all the disposable bags of wipes for my diaper bag so this is perfect.
  • Petunia Pickle Bottom diapers bags with their handy built in changing pads.
  • Also, the little pads that go on your changing table cover so that every time you have a mess, you don’t have to take off the entire cover.

Mom of one, Lauren M.’s must-haves:

  • I spent a lot of time buying into the idea that some diapers fit your baby better than ours – and that bad fits lead to blow-outs. Looking back (as a veteran mom of an almost 18mo, tuh!), I tend to think blow-outs just happen sometimes. I’ve been really happy with The Honest Company diapers. They’re not the cheapest, but they’re environmentally conscious and can’t beat the convenience of automatic delivery.

Feeding-

Mom of one, Erica G.’s must-haves:

Nursery-

Mom of three, Adrienne R.’s must-haves:

  • My number ONE overall must have….a sound machine!! We’ve used different ones, but I like the mybaby Soundspa Lullabye Machine. It’s small, makes a “good” (not annoying) white noise/ocean sound & has a nightlight you can turn on if you want it. As babies, I don’t think they slept well without it being on. But now they CAN, but I still use it…blocks dog barking, noise outside & us watching tv or visiting with friends after they go to bed. I should add they sleep with their doors wide open too. We even take it on long trips in the car!

Mom of two, Tara S.’s must-haves:

  • I didn’t use a sound machine at first, but now even I prefer it over dead silence for sleep. Also helpful to drown out sounds when you have more than one. Mine don’t necessarily require it for sleep…but I don’t go without if I don’t have to.

Mom of one, Erica G.’s must-haves:

  • We have the Marpac Sound Machine! I love it because it isn’t obnoxiously loud but it covers up the dogs barking at nap time. I think JR sleeps better with a sound machine, but it isn’t necessary for us to travel with.

Mom of one, Lauren M.’s must-haves:

  • Marpac Sound Machine– I don’t think Amelia gets white noise at school, but we’ve never gone without it at home.

On-The-Go-

Mom of one, Lauren M.’s must-haves:

Summer Baby

Mom of three, Adrienne R.’s must-haves:

Mom of one, Lauren M.’s must-haves:

  • I’m a big fan of this sprinkler for summer yard play. It’s cute and made of flexible material, which is great for the inevitable head-first dive.

Teething-
