milspouse friday fill-in.

1. What is something you wished you’d learned to do earlier in life?

I wish I learned to cross stitch and sew, so that I could sew a Christmas stocking for Lily, like the ones my mom sewed for our family.

2. What is your biggest pet peeve with the military?
I don’t enjoy the not knowing. When is his replacement coming? Will he have A/C and internet? What’s his new address? When can I send this package? When is R & R? When can he call? Why can’t he call? What’s going on? Blah blah blah. Over it.

3. What tourist attraction near you have you never seen?
The Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory. I am SO going here before we leave (hopefully more than once). Rumor has it there are 80 cent boxes of tea!! I’m home!! I mean, really, how many people do you know who own a tea caddy (mine have lids for freshness, but I can’t find them anywhere online), a tea infuser mug and perfect tea maker?

4. What are you avoiding doing right now?
Writing a proposal for work. I keep telling myself, “Who cares? I have all afternoon to get it done.”  Procrastination Nation.

5. Wine, beer or liquor?

If you had asked me 2 years ago I would have said wine, without a doubt. But today, I can’t say I’m not  feeling an ice cold Bristol’s Beehive.

    1. Mmmmmmmmm…Bristol.

    2. I LOVE THE CELESTIAL FACTORY! I have totally been there and i love it and i will go WITH you! OKAY?! =)

    3. ps sorry my comments always say “ms. schreiner”…i keep a blog for my students, lolol

    4. Hello! Found your blog by way of Wife of a Sailor & now Im a new follower. I agree that the unknown is such a frustrating part of the military! Nice to “meet” you!
